Container to Cambodia Update
Thank you for the amazing support we have received for our request for goods to fill the shipping container bound for Cambodia. We have actually doubled the size of the container to accommodate all the goods!!! As a result it has been off loaded from the scheduled ship and placed on another leaving two weeks later at the end of May.
This is an excerpt from a recent letter from the orphanage regarding the goods they require:
“These items are so useful for us as we are now expanding our project at Ratanakiri province located in the northeast of Cambodia and approximately 636 km from Phnom Penh City and really in needs of desks, chairs as well as filling cabinets and other stuffs. What you are doing means so much for us and for almost 300 children under our support.” The children must be very thrilled to see and receive all of your donations.
Best regards,
Porleang (administrator Future Light Orphanage)
Many thanks from Yvonne Frawley, Shannon Cattell and Marg O’Neil
