NO NUTS AT STAR OF THE SEA

 

 

 

WHO Everyone at Star of the Sea

WHY A number of our students have nut allergies, some severe and life threatening

WHAT We are asking all families NOT to bring nut based foods to school

NO NUTS /NO NUT BASED PRODUCTS

Eg Nutella, Peanut Butter, Muesli Bars containing nuts 

 

There are plenty of other foods out there folks. While this may be a small inconvenience for you, it is the wellbeing and safety of our students that must come first. Your co-operation with this is needed and vital. Students with severe allergies to nuts only need to have physical contact or breathe in particles to have a severe allergic reaction.

 

This policy has been endorsed by our school board, our P&F and our staff. Thank you for your co-operation
